Placer Legacy Open Space and Agricultural Conservation Program has been developed to protect and conserve open space, natural resources and agricultural lands throughout the county. It provides a comprehensive framework to preserve the diversity of plant and animal communities in the county and addresses a variety of other open space needs, from agriculture and recreation to urban edges and the urban forest.

The
Roseville Urban Forest Foundation (RUFF) is a nonprofit community membership organization serving the City of Roseville and surrounding region. Our vision is to have a healthy and perpetual urban forest. RUFF is comprised of local citizens, corporate partners, business owners, city representatives and tree professionals. The foundation was founded in 1995.
